I googled this post while looking for MagLev comments.

I hope you saw the tweet that MagLev is publicly available. It runs both Ruby and Smalltalk. It should run Seaside out of the box pretty soon. It's open source (at least the Ruby and Smalltalk parts). There is a free version, too.
